Salesman with no integrity!

For a couple of times in the months of July and August I was constantly receiving calls from Pablo from Bel Air Virgin Active. My friend Margo Moyake had referred me to him after she joined. After he called me a couple of times, I decided to join. I came in on the 9th of September to officially register. The agreement with Pablo was the following: • I immediately pay for my card activation • There was a once off registration fee which would be deducted from my account on the first of Oct • My monthly instalment moving forward was going to be R200 and something since I was on Vitality.

Just before the end of September, I got a call from Phillip, who told me a different contract to what I signed, extremely baffled, I decided to meet with him on the same day that afternoon.

To my surprise, on the system was the following: • I was registered as a premier member which was never mentioned in my conversation with Pablo, I was only interested in going to the Bel Air branch since its closest to my house. • I was to pay over a R1000 monthly as me being on vitality was not even mentioned on the system.

I immediately told Phillip that I wanted to cancel as I didn’t agree to the T’s and C’s on the system. Phillip said he would investigate and get back to me, to this date, he still hasn’t gotten back to me.

To say the least I’m highly appalled by the service, more so Pablo’s integrity in this regard. He was clearly chasing his sales and forgot to have morals. This was nothing short of daylight brought light! What is more insulting by his actions is how he thought he was going to get away with such obvious ***** and dishonestly.

I would highly appreciate it if someone could get back to me, confirming my cancellation.
