Rude

This morning 27 Jan 2021 I decided to go and walk at the Virgin Active Bryan Park . On arriving at the gym at 5.30 my friend and I found the gym to be open. The doors were wide open and no one was in reception . We called , whistled and called again . No one answered . So we went in and started walking on the treadmill. We were the only people in the gym at this stage . After about 10 minutes a gym employee a lady approached us and told us that the gym was closed. We mentioned that the doors were open on our arrival. She the told us that the gym only opened at 6 . We were totally unaware of this . A while later a gentelman approached my friend and told us in a rather aggresive manner that we must leave the gym . He gestured to us that we must leave . When we ecplained to him that we didnt know that thegym only opened at 6 , he was very rude and obnoxious , was not interestred inour story and duly escourted two 50 plus woman out of the gym in front of gym members . The members couldnt believe the way we were treated . This Virgin activie employee was clearly enjoying the power he held over us ,and was not interested in what we had to say. To date I have never received any email notification advising me that the gym opened at 6. I am not a regular early morning gym person .This "manager" could have handled the situation better. Firstly loose the attitude and aggression , and listen..... I would have had no problem leaving if he had approached this diffirently . I will most definately be cancelling my membership with immediate effect this treatment is totally unacceptable .I expect an apology from Virgin Active
