Ripp Offs

Just found out i owe Virgin R1200 yet i cancelled this account at there gym In Lenasia when i relocated.<br> <br> They advise that they sent me a email in 2011 that i never received and my cell number only changed in 2013.<br> <br> I called there head office to find out why i owe the money and its the last 4 months before the system cancelled my account. <br> <br> Upon explaining this and asking what can be done as it wasn't my fault that someone at Virgin Active Lenasia didn't do there Job i was pleasantly advised that i must pay Half the amount for their staff not doing there job and i must take a new contract.<br> <br> So not only must i pay half but i must sign up for another contract after there staff not doing a simple thing like cancelling a contract that went from a 12 month contract to month to month for a good couple months after the contract ended.<br> <br> I think they think this is the only Gym in South Africa. I will await a response of this before i post it on every social media possible so that people thinking to join Virgin know how they try to do you in.
