Ridiculous cancellation fee

Having been to gym only once since starting my membership, I found out I was pregnant a month after, being 4 months pregnant I've had threatened miscarriages during my current pregnancy which obviously proves me unfit to be at the gym. Called to cancel my contract I was told I'd have to pay 3150.00 for a service I have not and CANNOT even use, it's ridiculous really that companies like these feel it's okay to ****** money from people who can't afford it. I refuse to pay this amount and I refuse to pay for a service I'm not using due to the fact that it is a health risk for myself and my unborn child and I simply cannot afford to be wasting money on something I don't use.
