Regretting signing up
Not a good choice to sign a contract with this gym.

I signed up for Virgin Active for the first year of my studies, because it was the only gym accessible in my area. I thought student discounts apply everywhere, although Virgin Active does offer it… it is still unaffordable. Paying over R800 per month is unreasonable, you pay for the giant pools, pilates classes, all of the unnecessary things that you don’t even use.
In the middle of my contract they increased the price and did not notify me at all, so when the debit order went off, I was confused. You don’t even have a choice, they just subtract the new price from your bank.
My partner cancelled his contract and was successful, but when I went to cancel mine there was problems? They are not consistent with their actions and I grow more frustrated by the day.
