Poor staff behavior

While training at the Virgen Active bluff gym I was interrupted by a staff member who wanted to clear up a personal issue with me. I refused to get involved in it and also refused to shake his hand as I felt it was in an inappropiate setting. A few minutes later while training I discovered that a few staff members were standing far away , pointing at me and looking at me and talking about me. I ignored it because again it wasn't the right time or place to get into it , but I was upset and I felt uncomfortable. When I decide to leave , all the staff proceeded to look at me and my gym partner with disgust and in a manner that suggested negavtivity towards me. After gym I proceeded to go to the near by pick n pay. Upon my return I find a staff member that's off duty and the staff members from inside looking at me again. My question is , is this what virgin active teaches there staff ? To try to antagonize the customer ? Why are personal matters being brought up at work ? Why does the staff openly disrespect members and talk about members while they are training ? Does the staff respect the members ? Why does off duty staff members suddenly arrive at work to "look" at members leaving gym ? Why does the staff use a mob mentality to handle matters ? What happened to leaving and serving the customer? I'm really disappointed at virgin active and this exprience. I'm very angered by the way the staff portrayed themselves. If the staff wants to resort to such behavior then they must let the customer know from the onset. I have my till slip showing that I did infact so shopping and virgin active can use camera footage to see who instigated the matter!
