Poor communication by Virgin Active regarding the last Debit order.
I am totally upset with Virgin Active. Why is there always an issue with the Virgin Active contact centre? I woke up this morning to a text that said a debit order had been processed on my cheque account and no one had told me that this would be done. I recently processed a cancellation and the agent assisting me did not care enough to explain how the process will go. Our conversation got disconnected and I waited for the agent to call back but she did not bother calling me back. Only after I called back, I was told by another agent that my cancellation had been processed. I explained to this agent that my conversation did not end with me saying goodbye. You'd think the agent that processed the cancellation would have called just to say, 'I hear you called back and is the there anything else I can assist with?'. After the cancellation I logically expected something in writing in my mail as confirmation, which has still not been sent today. Now that this surprise Dr order which is not on the normal date was processed on my cheque account and I had money in my savings account instead, I have incurred a returned Dr order fee on my Account(Which is a first for me). The treatment I received from the lady (whom I'll call a lady just for gender identification purposes as she didn't behave like one) was very rude and dismissive. She spoke to me like she was bored or had better things to do or she was rushing somewhere. During our conversation she made a mistake with the months remaining and as I corrected her she became rude. As soon as I pointed out that I didn't like her tone she forcefully apologised with a total lack of empathy or remorse for her actions. I'm not surprised that this agent spitefully processes this cancellation leaving out the mother of all details. This is payment for not using the gym in future periods so that should have been explained clearly by a well trained agent. I want to know what happens next with Virgin Active because that returned Dr order fee was not part of my plans and I was not made aware of the change in Dr order date. I've often heard complaints about Virgin Active and I didn't think that would happen to me. Virgin Active needs to make it right for messing up my bank statement with that failed transaction and it's fee! I could have gone through my whole life without experiencing that. My reason for cancelling is because I'm not pleased with the service, as it is I'm still waiting for a callback from a call centre manager which dates back to May. I don't even want to go into that issue. Ek is gatvol Virgin Active. Disorder is your order and I'm glad I'm doing away with You. You have spoilt my day!
