Policy change - New Activation -Daylight Roberry

Hi,

this is the third time this has happened where I'm expected to pay registration fees due to policy changes.
Each time R1100.
The first time I understand at inception of my Vitality contract and I paid it.
Thereafter Vitality was moved from my Medical Aid to my Life policy and once again I was charged a R1100 fee.
I have since left Vitality and moved to Own Your Life with Liberty and despite being an on going member of the same gym I'm being told that I must pay a new activation fee.

What for? What value am I getting for a new R1100?
I asked the question at the Gym and the consultant told me this is the rule and that's that.

I can't accept this to be the rule as a continuing member. Policies at insurers evolve all the time. You can't expect to hold people ransom to stay at one provider with your crazy activation fees.

This is a *******.
Hello Stoil Michaylov,

Thank you so much for taking my call today.

On behalf of Virgin Active please accept my apology for the frustrations.

As discussed, I explained that the activation fee is a requirement from the Corporate Rewards program you a choosing to join Virgin Active through.

Please look out for my email as requested.

Best regards
Robyn
