Pathetic Virgin active more like virgin *******.

I am extremely disappointed with Virgin Active Faerie Glen regarding the recent escalation of membership fees by 26% for 2025. After contacting customer care to address this issue, I was advised to either downgrade my package — something I had already done last year from a national membership to a club-only membership — or simply accept the increase.

The justification provided was that the club underwent renovations and that overall expenses have risen. While I understand that improvements and operational costs are factors, such an exorbitant increase is unfair and places undue financial strain on loyal customers.

Virgin Active’s approach to this matter lacks empathy and fails to provide reasonable alternatives for long-standing members. Suggesting further downgrades or expecting members to accept such a steep increase shows a clear disregard for customer loyalty.

With this, I will say my goodbyes to Virgin Active. After many years of commitment to the club, this unreasonable escalation leaves me no choice but to seek alternative options. You will not see me in 2025.
