Pathetic sales service from VA Tyger Valley.

Virgin Active Tyger Valley have have been shameful. Signing on as a new member with the Vitality benefit should not be a mind-blowing complicated exercise... It is after all the most common way that people sign up. My experience with a particular salesman, Brendon, left me feeling like I was being ****med or maybe just part of a plan of his to **** his company. Everything felt shady, nothing was straightforward and nothing worked. His apparent experience counted for nothing. My card was blocked thrice at the entrance within the first month because of payment errors on Virgin Active's side. I was made to sign activation contracts twice and to sit with 4 different employees (Brendon, Cee-Jay, Matthew and Graydene) on different occassions before they (hopefully) have got it right. This is a very inefficiently run administrative process. A very obviously disjointed team. A friend who I started gym with went through the same thing with the very same sales rep. Consistency, accuracy, professionalism and accountability should matter when money and payments are involved in an interaction. I shouldn't have to keep coming in during working hours to sit with your staff members to get them to get things right when it should have been done right from the start. I should not have to stand at the front of the gym, cold and embarrassed with my gym bag, denied entry, when I have followed all the instructions, signed where I was asked to sign and paid all that was asked of me to pay immediately and on time, especially not when I had already visited your admin staff on 3 different occasions to assure all is in order. On my third visit (Matthew), I had even gone as far as asking him to walk up to the accountant to ensure that all is in order after setting up my debit order for the second time and making a manual payment for the third time via a payment link. The very next day, access denied - card blocked. The customer experience manager had to get Vitality access approval still, because that was apparently forgotten(???) by the three sales people!? Shameful, just embarrassingly shameful.
