Not upset, just disappointed
Ok, so I've been a member of Virgin Active for years now, easily 5 or more years and had to cancel my membership due to financial uncer*****y in March this year. Virgin Active tried retaining my services however as I was not sure I could afford to gym with them anymore I had to unfortunately go ahead with the cancellation. Need to say, things go better and I decided to join Virgin Active again, I mean who else, I've been with them for years. Went into my local VA yesterday and was told that I would have to pay R1850.00 in order to join again. I was a bit surprised seeing as I have been gyming here for the past four years. I asked does me being a member here for over four years not count for anything, and the answer was no. Like my heading states, I am not upset just disappointed at how my loyalty to Virgin Active is rewarded. I thought the least they could of done is just waiver the Vitality fee as I have paid it before a couple years ago. The plan was to get myself signed up along with all my kids to Club V, but seeing as I have to pay the sign up fee again, leaves a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. I was even told I would need a new card which would cost R200 extra, even though I still have my old card.
I understand the company has T&C's, hence I havent given you guys a bad rating. I just thought that you guys would be more accepting and welcoming to your loyal members who are trying to return.
Thanks for listening
