"No. You can't come in here" - From Virgin Active Employee to member.

<p>I have a membership at the Virgin Active in Hatfield, but have recently moved to Joburg and wished to change my 'home gym'. </p> <p>The woman at the desk of the Brigh****er Commons Virgin active was so batantly uncaring and rude that I left feeling like crying. She told me that the swap would cost 'admin fees' (R500) as well as an extra R400 month. I told her that I couldn't afford that, obviously- as I am already paying a ridiculously high price. She told me to 'come back when you can, then.' </p> <p>When I asked if I could just do a holiday gym swap instead, so that I could enter just for that day, she said 'No. You can't come in here.' </p> <p>I feel completely ********** by this gym alredy, and can't wait for my contract to be over so that I don't have any obligation to enter one of their facilities again. Their contracts are supremely damaging to the consumer. I was cautious of entering into this, but did so after reading the fine print and now I find that there are costs that I am viable for but still can't find any mention of- online or on paper. They aren't insignificant amounts, either. </p> <p> </p> <p>I strongly suggest that anyone considering joinin Vrgin Active do so cautiously, and make sure it is their last option. </p>
