No member, no access!

On Wednesday 22 May I was visiting family in Johannesburg. After dropping children off at school it my sisters routine to attend Pilates at Virgin Lonehill. As I was with her dropping children off I went along and wanted to wait for her while she attended her class. Upon arriving at the gym I asked if I could come in and sit at the Kauai while she had class. Much to my horror the Virgin employee said I was not allowed to come in if I am not a member, alternatively I need to pay R300!! Are you serious R300 to sit down and wait for max 1 hour while someone completes their gym session? Absolutely ridiculous!!

So basically the only patrons of Kauai are virgin active members! How narrow minded- would this not be an opportunity for marketing your gym or generating extra revenue for your Kauai store.

So I took my business elsewhere.

Really Virgin Active this is really ridiculous!
