no income
My daughter saw Virgin active canvasing at Greenacres Shopping Centre in Port Elizabeth while waiting for her appointment and decided to join the gym. I became aware of the situation when a debit order message came on my phone. How the heck can you let somebody sign a contract or join a gym who is unemployed. It does not make SENSE or are you people just interested in the money. Its the same as giving somebody credit that cannot afford to pay. I am willing to take this matter forward. Why don't you ask your clients how they going to pay and if they employed or not. You don't even have that information completed on your forms as it does not matter

11 May 2015, 16:01Hello Mureedah7777,
Thank you for taking the share your concerns with me.
I am sorry to learn of the frustration caused. I tried to call you on the number provide but could not reach you.
Virgin Active is not a financial institution, and we therefore sign up memberships for members who wish to join. We would require members to confirm in writing that are able to settle the monthly installments on the prearranged dates.
I would like to further discuss the matter with you and best foot forward regarding your daughters membership.
I have emailed you and look forward to discussing an outcome with you.
Kind regards,
Nawaal
