Monthly contract actually a year contract

<p>I started at virgin active beginning of the year and was told that it i a month to month contract and needed to give a months notice. Cancled my contract now and have to pay R2300 to cancle my contract as i will be going for a knee operation. Some heads need to roll but i think this is their policy to hustle people. Next time i will read my contracts brfore i sign. Guess what? I will not be rejoining a Virgin Active again after i recover. Makes me sick how people lie and a company like Virgin Active is not what they seem. Read some other complaints and guess i should have never started training there anyway. Swak. </p>
