Money hungry.

I signed up with the gym in January 2018. I cancelled my membership in June and paid the cancellation fee which was a percentage of what was owing for the remainder of my contract. Retentions contacted me and offered to freeze my membership instead, to which I agreed. I contacted Virgin to cancel my membership at the end of the contract which is January 2019. I am liable to pay the full charge for a full month apparently and not a percentage there of as was previously done in June. Where are the values? Money hungry.
