Misled into joining ************ gym : ***

<p>I was coerced to join the gym by virgin active salesman at Southgate mall in April 2015 when i was stil pregnant. The agreement was that the account will only be activated end of August for September when i have delivered my baby, by joining then i was told i would not pay any joining fees then since it was a promo. Sounded like a good idea, but to my suprise 2days later they started debiting my bank R275, i called the number at the back of the card to tell them that i was stil pregnant and would only use the gym in September & they should cancel the account if they wouldnt wait for me to deliver first. To my suprise they started to debit R137 instead of cancelling the account or waiting for August. I have NEVER set my foot in any of your gyms , as the above incident angered me, how can i be expected to pay for services i was not using at the time?And now i am getting seizeless calls and messages from MBD debt collectors on behalf of the gym saying i owe over R2000.. Really? In all fairness its the gym who is supposed to refund me not me pay them.. I thought this was a reputable gym with principles but it looks like they are just desparate for money.</p>
