Misleading sales process

Hi,

I find it most tedious and annoying that I have to resort to such channels...

My wife has been in liaison with Alexa Jooste at your Little Falls club in an attempt to sign up my mother-in-law for a national membership.

We have a chain of emails whereby it was clearly stated by Alexa that my mother-in-law would qualify for a 25% membership discount based on her medical aid policy. My wife even provided my mother-in-law's ID number as a reference and again the discount was confirmed.

This evening my wife and mother-in-law went to the club to sign, only to be told that she would only qualify for a 10% discount??!! Alexa had somehow forgotten all details of the communication between herself and my wife and would not honour her written commitment on the discount.

This is unacceptable. My wife and mother-in-law have spent weeks planning for this and left empty-handed without signing up. You have wasted both of their time and did not even so much as offer an apology.

I expect Virgin to refer to the email communication between my wife, Candice, and Alexa and honour the price quoted by your sales manager. If not, I will be taking this further.

Appreciate your assistance in this regard,

Damian Burnett
