Misleading Contract Terms – Avoid Virgin Active!

I joined Virgin Active Wonderboom expecting a 12-month membership, as clearly confirmed in writing by their own employee at the time of sign-up. I would have cancelled the contract immediately if the email did not reflect the 12 months, but I trusted their confirmation.

Shockingly, they later claimed my contract is 24 months without my consent and refused to cancel my membership. After this experience, it’s clear that no one can truly trust emails from Virgin Active employees, as their claims can be contradicted by their T&Cs or internal policies.

This is misleading, unfair, and completely unacceptable. I trusted them, followed all terms, and they are now trying to extend my contract ********ly.

If you value your money and don’t want to deal with unnecessary stress, think twice before joining Virgin Active.
