misleading consultant

Hi i signed 2 contracts with virgin active because the consultant said it is R100 a month. that was for the month of August. he also said August is free because of it being woman's month. Now i get call from lawyers saying i have to pay otherwise i will b blacklisted. my question is will anyone take out 2 contracts if it is R280 pp? the only reason why i took out a contract in the 1st place was because the consultant said it was R100 pm. now i hear it is R280 and apparently i cant cancel because there was a 5 day cooling off period which no one told me about.
