Membership Billing Nightmare!!!

I joined Vitality in June but Virgin Active charged me full amount due to my new Vitality number not being updated with them. I paid R1171. After days of being passed around from one inperson agent to the next, was told I need to pay Vitality activation fee R499 even AFTER they confirmed with Discovery my Vitality membership. So in total for the month of June I have paid R1670 when THEY should have credited me back R672. Make it make sense??? Will DEFINITELY be cancelling this membership as soon as the 12 months are up.
