Mask Protocol Violations at Rooihuiskraal

Today I had a really bad experience (not the 1st time) at the club, where two members were talking (with raised voices) to each other - one from the sauna area - which is opposite the showers and one in the dressing area. As I got out of the shower I asked the lady to please use her mask while talking, to which I was subjected to threats and abuse, told to voetsek, "who the **** are you?" etc etc. I do not go to the gym to be abused. And I expect that everyone obeys the Mask regulations stipulated. For some reason people think that if they are in the bathroom the mask policy does not apply and that they can talk and have meet ups with impunity. I would like to see the rules enforced. members who do not apply the policy need to be told to leave and this never happened. I spoke to the manager Ray immediately thereafter. I expect signs to go on up in the bathrooms reminding people to wear their masks unless they are in the showers. If you are talking anywhere in the club it should be with a mask on. Why are members of your gym who ask for the sake of our own health and others that people observe the rules, allowed to be threatened and abused at HIGH VOLUME? The cleaning lady who was there, did not even call a member of staff but rather listened to this whole diatribe delivered of course mask-less. I had to ensure 7 minutes of profanity ridden vitriol. none of this is acceptable at all.

Surely, having gyms closed down is not in the best interest of the staff, the communities, the members or the economy. I expect Virgin Active to do better.
