Manipulation to take long term contract
I went to virgin active today the 2nd february 2015 to
sign up for gym subscription. On my arrival I met an
employee at virgin active by the name of Bafana
Mahlang. He asked me if I would like to join the gym to
which I rep**** yes. He then directed me into the gym
to start the membership sign up process. I asked him if
they had short term subcriptions like a month, 3 month
and so on and he said no, they only have 12 and 24
months gym subscriptions. I was dissapointed, but
because I wanted to start excercising I thought about
taking the 12 months subscription and enquired what
happens when I cancel the membership and he told me
about the 30% charge for remainder of contract which
was why I rather would have taken a short term
subscription. Although I wasnt pleased by this I
convinced myself to go ahead and sign up. we then
went ahead and he helped me sign up. After we had
finished and he printed my copies for me, I noticed
check boxes of short term subscriptions on the copies.
which to me meant this option were available but I was
**** to about.
Thank you so much for taking my call today.

As discussed, I have addressed the matter with senior management and we will be meeting you tomorrow to get the 1 month contract signed and the 12 month contract cancelled.
