Manager handover without reading his own promises
Last year I informed Cobus van den Bergh that I stopped the debit order, my reason being that my husband who had a stroke no longer makes use of the gym, I am prepared to take over his membership, I told him that I am prepared to continue with the gym membership, however I can get it cheaper through Vitality. He told me it is fine we can do it, after he has investigated to find out if we can transfer the membership. I went in to change the membership in JAN/FEB and was told I am behind in instalments, i have to first pay the outstanding. I was shock because I told Cobus that I am cancelling the debit order, I also told that we can continue with it a soon as we have agreed about my gym takeover which he said is fine, I have all the correspondense on email to proof our arrangement. Now in March I was told I was handed over, first of all Cobus you have no backbone to go behind my back and to change the arrangement, I was looking forward to join and continue with the gym membership, furthermore I also suggested that you can extend the gym contract for the months when I stopped the debit order, I was also prepared to pay a higher fee.
