Load shedding so Kloof Gym is closed!

My grand daughter has a student gym contract, which means that she can only visit the gym at certain times during the day. There have been days when she has not been able to go to the gym in Kloof, KZN, as they close early when there is load shedding! These times sometimes overlap the time that a student can get into the gym. She was told that she could go to another Virgin Active Gym if load shedding happened for Kloof and they are closed. This would mean a trip to either Pinetown or Westville. She is a young female student, on a student budget, it is certainly not safe or cost effective for her to travel to either of these places. I would expect that Virgin Active would make an exception and allow students who can only train at certain times, to train at an hour earlier than their contract states, until such time, if ever, loadshedding ends. If not then Virgin Active is possibly in breach of the contract they have with her. Surely it can make no difference if a few students went in an hour early. The problem is usually with the 6 - 8 load shedding time slot. Virgin Active should be doing everything it can to help in these trying times for us all.
