Lies about visitation

I called Virgin Active in KC last month to ask if I can bring a guest, they said it was fine and we came and gymed. Then tonight I decided to bring along the same friend with my bf and I as we both belong to VA. Upon arrival when trying to sign in my friend was told he had been to Steenberg VA before (he has never been there) and they would not let him in. The receptionist who only attended to us after she decided to chat and swipe other people in before we were helped called the \manager"and she told my friend that it's R185 to pay as a guest fee and he should ponder on that as she walked off and went to help other guests.
