Lank of Efficiency

Tried to cancel my contract - Call centre says one thing to the branch!!

Called the call centre to be told I have to go in to the branch to cancel my contract with Virgin Active Table View and there will be no charge involved as I was out of my 2 year contract period. When I went in to the branch I was informed a payment as due, I stated that I was informed no payment was due by the call centre. Needless to say a call was made and I was informed by a staff member at Table view Virgin Active that i did not need to pay anything. Only to call the Call centre the next day to double check that all is correct, to be told I owe R260!!! I was not given any paper work on the time of cancelation and nothing was said about a payment of R260. If I did not do a follow up i would have had no idea of this amount.

It's so sad that a manger has to refer to the contract I signed over 2 Years ago and hold me to that!.. (when one does not remember it word for word and is the reason why you called the call centre)

I think it is disgusting that after being valid customer for over 2years and never missed a payment, to get treated like i am a child and the manager has to back him-self up by a contract and not just apologise for the mess up from their side and have respect for a Client.

NONE the less they have just proved they a money making business and clearly care about R260 more than a Client!!

!

We would like to thank you for having been a Virgin Active member and hope to see you back in the near future.
