ineffective service

for over three years I have been dealing with the mediocrity that is virgin active morningside. The space is small, the equipment is old and there really is not enough of everything to accommodate all the clients that work out there.

I am a person that likes to do my own workout, the space available to us is just insulting. A tiny little area at the entrance of the gym where God forbid you want to do anything bent over, like a walk out, as our option involves either bending over towards every single person entering the gym, or bending over towards the people cycling. For this reason, as well as the fact that this area is often extremely cramped, I try to work out in one of the class rooms when no class is being held. On Sunday, 7 May I was working out in the class room with 12 minutes left of my work out wen I was told to leave the room as they were starting a class and I wasn't allowed to be there. If the class was full, I would understand why I had to leave. Those people taking the class obviously have preference, however, today when I was kicked out there were 2 people in the room. Two people. I have a photo to prove it if you want. This to me is shocking. We are all aware the gym is in no way capable of serving the amount of people that work out there, so why can't you guys be a little more accommodating to those who don't want to bare themselves to everyone, or want a little more space so that we can do a burpee?

if you are going to enforce one rule, then please be consistent and enforce them all. Often in the weights section a person tells me i can't use a machine because he is using it. He says this while he is sitting at another machine sending a text. Where are your staff enforcing rules then? Where are your staff ensuring everyone uses a towel, or puts their weights away??

why was I treated with such disrespect while others rule the gym with no consequences?
