********** increases!

I am absolutely appalled by the proposed increases for 2025. I am a pensioner who has been a member for more than 18 years. I'm on a limited access membership option and I've been paying R601 per month. My subscription will be increased to R910 per month from January 2025 - more than 50% increase! My fellow pensioner gym buddies are equally horrified by this unwarranted increase and most have indicated that they will be cancelling their memberships. This despite us being loyal throughout the difficulties of cold water swimming pools, numerous sauna breakdowns lasting for weeks, doorless showers that don't get repaired, hot water issues and appalling lack of maintenance. Shame on you, Virgin Active, for targeting the aged and faithful members! Ah well, fortunately there are more reasonably priced options.
