<p>I spoke to Arthur at Virgin Active Meyersdal in August 2016 about joining the gym and expressed that I want to start in August so as to qualify for the R800 Addidas Voucher.</p> <p> </p> <p>He kept on telling me there is an amount outstanding and after confirming that his system stated file closed still said he could not join me.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was sequestrated in 2010 and re-joined the gym again in 2012 and we resolved all these issues.</p> <p> </p> <p>Arthur kept telling me I have to repay that amount and the amount is outstanding and the system will not let me join.</p> <p> </p> <p>After about two weeks of going back and forth and confirming with MBD that they have the documentation and that the file is in fact closed Arthur still refused to join me.</p> <p> </p> <p>On numerous occasions I requested to speak to his manager and kept telling me his manager is not available.</p> <p> </p> <p>On one occasion (Now already September )I spoke to him on the phone and asked him If he would them give me a R800 Adidas voucher from his pocket and can I speak to his manager or should I call head office, after which he put the phone down in my ear.</p> <p> </p> <p>So from pure frustration I went to Glenvista VA on 6 September 2016 and the sales consultant JP joined me and I explained the whole situation. I gave him a copy of the sequestration court order as well.</p> <p> </p> <p>After this I went to Meyersdal VA and then spoke to Arthur asking how I could join Glenvista and he could not?</p> <p> </p> <p>He said that JP was lying about joining me and that in fact after checking the system that I was not a valid member.</p> <p> </p> <p>He proceeded to tell me he is one of the best sales consultants that VA has and that he is not wrong at all.</p> <p> </p> <p>After Speaking to Shabeer and Fathima at head office this morning who in fact confirmed that I do have a valid membership signed with JP yesterday, I now know that Arthur has no Idea of what is going on and should not be dealing with customers as he is extremely rude and arrogant.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would now like to know who will arrange the R800 Adidas voucher that I am entitled to as I was prevented from joining in August 2016 due to VA Meyersdal staff not knowing what they are doing?</p> <p> </p> <p>I do not care if this needs to come from Arthur's salary as he has waste my time and prevented me from receiving the voucher (or equivalent) that I was entitled to.</p> <p> </p>
