First time I joined the gym I was a student. I struggled to make payments, therefore stopped gyming. After 5 years they still pinned the outstanding balance on me. I told them the debt is prescribed, they didn't even know what that was and yet when I want to join again they still tell me to pay 50% of that outstanding balance, although legally I am no longer liable to make payments. My boyfriend already joined because they said if MBD can remove my name I can also join, all of a sudden now I must pay. They are losing 2 customers because of old debt whereas I never even used their facilities.. Very smart!
