I will never join again.

I suffered a sports injury and underwent surgery. I had to join the gym to do my rehabilitation post-surgery and was told I can’t sign anything less than a 2 year contract. I had to sign. 8 months passed and my rehab is complete I wanted to cancel my contract just to find out that conveniently this month my membership went up to R560 a month and it will cost me R2200 to cancel my contract.

I am at another gym, much cheaper and closer situated so I cancelled anyway.

I am very upset with what it cost me not only the medical bills but to be ****** “for lack of a better expression “ by my gym after my traumatic experience prior to that.
