This past Sunday (29 march)my friend and I were at Boulders mall and there was Virgin active reps signing up people as they'd occasionally do when they have promotions. We decided to sign up we were helped by Moses/Maxwell. He took a couple of forms from the stand told us to follow him to the car as he was going to get the promotional bags for us. We filled out the forms and a colleague of his seemed foreign joined us and they both insisted on the joining fee of R 150 per person. I told them I don't have cash but we could swipe, the foreign colleague asked to look at my card and they told us they didn't have with them the 'swiping machine ' Moses said the one in the branch was also giving problems and asked if we could instead draw the money and they will mark it against our names accordingly . he walked us to Capitec Atm by legit and we gave him the R300.<br> Three days later while speaking to a friend of ours, she tells us she had signed up a week prior at Virgin and there was no fees we had to pay on sign up.<br> <br> Am ashamed to be associated with the brand if before even signing up I was ****** my friend and I were ******.
