Horrible experience

I took up a Virgin Active membership in August 2023 and paid a joining fee with Greenacres branch, they could not active my membership due to system issues however they issued me with a blue receipt so that I can visit the establishment for training. After two days the issue was still not resolved so I requested the Greenacres branch to cancel everything. I visited Lorraine branch and started the process from scratch, I paid again and obtained another blue receipt. Upon onboarding and activating the membership, it was picked up that I have a Vitality account and because of that I will be discounted 75% - I informed the Sales Manager that I do not have an active Vitality account therefore I cannot accept the discount. She checked and confirmed that there is no active Vitality however their systems picks up that I am on Vitality. I informed the Manager that I am on Bankmed and of the opinion that I am supposed to get 35% off. I was told that I could sign up and pay the R200 (joining fee for full membership) whilst the investigation took place. Investigation was concluded and I had two options either to take up the full membership and pay full amount without discount or take the Vitality discount. I was not pleased with the response because it is not a true reflection, I am on Bankmed and was supposed to get 35% OFF. I requested cancellation within the cooling off period and was told that the cancellation was successful. To my surprise, I received calls requesting that I pay an amount of R574.15, I have explained this to more than one consultant however the issue has NOT been resolved. I received an SMS today 25/01/2024 notifying me that my account was handed over to MBD. This is very frustrating and what makes me more furious is how this will have a negative impact on my Credit score. Kindly rectify the issue and please treat this with utmost urgency.
