Head Injury by Machine as Gym - Maintenance

Good day, my complaint is against Virgin Active (Mitchells Plain). I went on the 14/12/2017 to workout at the gym. while working out on a Lat cable pulldown machine the cable of the machine shot loose and the bar knock against the back of my head due to the cable shooting loose.

I am really grateful to the staff who assisted me with stopping the bleeding on my head and for i can be forever grateful.

I had to go to the doctor for stitches. and at my own expense not of the gyms. I have a bill and still have to go for a checkup to see if there are not any latent effects. My unhappiness is if I break the equipment I am accountable to replace the cost. in my case, the equipment malfunctioned and caused me harm and additional expense.

I am aware the manager of the branch will still have to call me this morning. Oscar has called me yesterday to check up on me a staff member who assisted me with good quality assistance. But i am fully aware that this is serious matter which could have taken my life if the bar knocked the center of my head.
