Have to pay to 'join' three times
I am absolutely shocked that Virgin Active expects me to pay a joining fee for a third time just because my medical aid is changing. Despite never having left Virgin Active I have been expected to pay the 'joining fee' twice before. With such shocking service it may be wise to move over to planet fitness who have a cheaper joining fees as well as cheaper monthly fees and I will actually be joining the gym.

I have tried to touch base with you via your mobile phone but to no avail.
Virgin Active has a few partnerships with corporate company's and certain rewards are offered to members who are affiliated with them.
When it comes to singing a new contract through a corporate, an activation fee is required. Kindly note that each corporate company decides what their activation fee will be and it is not a requirement from Virgin Active. The funds are paid to the corporate company associated.
