Harassment by personal trainer at Virgin Active Montana

I joined Virgin Active on the 1st of Feb with Roodepoort being my home club. On my first day they opened for me and that was it, and the club manager was mentioned in an email to say that there will be a new member. I wasn’t even shown where the change room is. Until today I still have to faff around to find stuff

Because of work I had to be in Pretoria, which is why I joined VA in the first place. I was at Montana today and tried taking a stepper because no one was on it, without realising that it was part of a setup for a group of people. A personal trainer, Chris told me that it’s being used. I quickly apologised and moved away. He then followed me screaming that I didn’t ask if it was being used, I apologised again and told him that I made a mistake because no one was actively using it. He continued making remarks while I walked away to avoid more commotion because at this point I was scare. I continued looking for a stepper until one of the other personal trainers told me where the storeroom is.

This incident caused me so much distress, and I can’t believe VA had normalised it
