Harassed by Staff Members of Virgin Active

Dear Virgin

As I write this complaint I am angry from ****** treatment I received from your staff at Virgin Active Red Parklands, Cape Town . Today I was told by Adriaan, Faith and Jaco Grove ( Virgin active consultants ) to leave the gym because I did not bring a towel, What Nonsense Is That. Why am saying the behavior is ****** because there were a number of people ( including white people) in the gym whom Adriaan, Faith and Jaco did not ask if they had a towel or not but they just decided to pick me this black girl and ask to to leave the premises and go fetch a towel. For gods sake I pay a membership here I don’t go to the gym for free! I recently joined Virgin Active and when I joined I was never told that to enter the gym the prerequisite is to have a towel or you leave premises. Furthermore there is no where in contract stipulate a condition of such. What I see is the Rule Book condition which I believe the consultants are supposed to take through the member on the rule and regulations before signing membership, which in my case they did not. Jaco Grove has the audacity to tell me as member it is my responsibility to find the The rule Book and read it , not Virgin Active responsibility to present the rule book to member upon signing the membership. This accident left a bitter taste in my mouth I REGRET joining Virgin Active because I had an option to join Planet fitness by I opt for Virgin Active. The manner they handled me was disrespectful and discriminatory. I want this matter to dealt with as soon as possible, or if I don’t get response by 5 days I am going to escalate the matter and make noise about it!!.
