Gym Equipment at Virgin Active Gateway

This review is not about the actual Gym itself but rather the equipment at the Gym. Virgin Active Gateway is by far one of the best gyms i have been to. The staff are super friendly, the classes are amazing and the trainers are really good. However, during this past year that I have been to the gym since covid, i have noticed that the equipment the gym has compared to others is absolutely terrible. They do not have enough weights to accommodate for classes, the pilates equipment such as the rings are in worn out shape, handles of those rings are even broken, the steppers used in the shape class are all broken out, by the time you manage to sort those steppers the classes have already begun. For been one of the state of the art Gyms based in Umhlanga this type of products for usage is unacceptable. The monthly gym fees are quite high compared to what most other gyms offer. If the customer is indeed paying for the contract or service, this should be carried out in the best way possible. One cannot carry over such equipment if it is not in worthy use condition. It would be greatly appreciated that the team of Virgin Active South Africa could do their inspections and look into this.
