GYM CLOSED DOWN AND NOW WE I HAVE TO PAY CANCELLATION FEES

Virgin Active Red in Wynberg Maynard Mall closed down at the End of February. Members are by default transferred to another branch or cancel (at no fee) if they wount be able to go to the other branch. I am now told that i will pay cancellation fees if i cancel, but should i pay cancelation fees for them closing down a gym? No one explained the terms of cancellation to me, members were sent emails and textxand i didnt get any communication regarding this. I CAN'T PAY CANCELLATION FEES WHEN IT'S THEM THAT ARE MOVING.
