Giving cellphone numbers to strangers

My friend gyms at cresta and someone at their reception gave a scary guy my friend cellphone number. This guy is now stocking this lady and when virgin active was made aware of this, they basically did nothing. It is so said that as a woman we are not protect and companies can just share our information without any consequences. This has a gun and his profile picture shows he is not afraid to use it. He even went to an extent of saying he is see her again at the gym even though my friend was direct and said “please don’t contact me again”. He then added to say he gyms at any virgin active he wants and will find her. So virgin active, doesn’t someone need to die before you take action?
