Full of promises, no accountability
I joined the Virgin Active Vodaworld, and promised a R900 voucher. I instructed them to debit my account on the 28th of each month and this was agreed on. Went to a consultant to get my voucher and was told to give the call centre a call to get my voucher. I did this and they said that I will only get it once I visit the gym 24 times. I did this and called to get my voucher and they said that I will only get it on the 15th of Dec. But I do not qualify due to a debit order being returned. The debit was taken on the 1st of the month and not on the 28th as instructed. When I noticed this I made an immediate payment. When speaking to the call centre agent I explained to them what happened and they said that they will make a note of it to fix it. At a later stage a called again and the person said that it has not been fixed and will only be sorted out after the 15th Dec. When I called on the after the date I was told that I won't get a voucher because of the debit order. I explained the situation to 6 different people and being called by different people all having to explain again and again. There is no effort put into correcting their mistakes. Staff does not know what they are doing.
Thanks for taking the time to chat to me.
On behalf of Virgin Active, please accept our sincere apologies for giving you the run around.
After our conversation, I'm relieved to hear that the Club Manager has already been in touch and that the matter has been resolved.
Please feel free to give us a shout if you need anything else.
Kind Regards,
Tracy-Lee
