Falsifying debts to ***** from members...Disappointing, Virgin Active

I was previously with Virgin active until August 2020. When I requested a cancellation there was no record of an amount owing, nor have I ever defaulted on my membership prior cancellation. 2022 June I was resigning for a membership and learnt I was owing R849 since 2006 have been handed over. Since 2006 to 2022, No collection company has made contact with me regarding this for the past 14years to recover this unfounded claim. I am disappoint at VA as a business for sitting this long if at all I was owing and allowed me to carry on a membership until 2020 without bringing this to my knowledge, legally followed a recovery process to date. Been calling VA contact centre and none of the consultants can assist with the mess they created and head office is inaccessible. I'm disappointed at how they choose to run a business unavailable and falsifiying debts to ***** from members...
