False pretence

<p>I opened a gym membership with Virgin Active on the 29th December 2016 and was told there's a promotion which meant my first installment will be on the 1st of February and the amount of R 580 for all members. On the 4th of January R477 was was deducted from my account which I couldn't understand because it's not what I agreed upon nor was it the date.</p> <p> </p> <p>Towards the end of January I received an sms reminder of R580 on the 1st of February and on the 1st two separate deductions totaling R1637 which was a total shock to me. When I enquired about the reasons for that amount they said it's what I m supposed to pay. Then I told them that's not what I agreed on and why did they send me a reminder of R580 which is the amount I agreed on.So they have been sending me from pillar to post.</p>
