False info from sales rep - horrible service

I have always been a loyal customer to virgin active but I can't deal with sales staff that lies to make a sale. Firstly when resigning another contract Loyd (sales rep) at Virgin active Athlone was helpful and nice. Told me a couple of untrue facts to get the sale that I only come to find out now after a year and 4 months. When I called the office to raise it, he tells me 'no I would never say something like that' and that's that What was said to me when re-signing is - 'you see Mr Martin not alot of sales reps tell the clients that even if you have a 2 year contract and you decide to cancel after having it for a year without missing any payments then you can cancel the contract without getting charged a cancelation fee' I've called the office thrice over the span of 2 months and spoke to this horrible sales rep thrice and each time he says 'okay sir let me find out for you and I'll call you back'. Since the first call he hasn't called back ONCE, when I eventually call the office AGAIN to find out a update. He just says he is busy looking into it and will call me back when. Now it's been nearly 3months and he still hasn't called back.

Do not con people into sales, you don't know or care how badly it impacts some people's pockets and also their view on a whole company. Just because of horrible service.
