False advertising

I met a sales consultant named Sipho @ the greenacres mall in october 2021 in Port Elizabeth while they had a promotion.He approached me to join virgin active.I told him that I would be able to join in 3 months time which was in january 2022.He promised me that I will only start paying in january 2022 and I should not worry about that as they were running a promotion at that time.only to have a debit order going off the very next month.I was so unhappy because this is not what we discussed.He had also promised to give me a virgin active bag and also one for my daughter.I have never received such till this day.The only thing I have is my account piling up with their upaid debit orders.I like virgin active as a gym as it is the closest to me but I am not willing to pay off something that I did not consent to.I have gone to virgin active in greenacres about this.He promised to resolve this matter.He has not given me a call nor tried to resolve this.
