I have joined Virgin Active twice in my life, the first time with my medical aid, I joined during the free bag promotion,I was told that the bags were out of stock and they would call me when in stock, after many enquiries I never received the bag. the second time I joined recently with life insurance. I was told if I joined the gym I had to visit 28 times, according to vitality and the virgin active app it says that I have gone to gym 32 times which covers the amount needed to get R700. I was lead to believe that it was a vitality incentive and made sure that I was up to date with my visits. I now get told that I have only done 22 visits which is under the required amount, I had joined the gym and back dated my vitality to 1 October and am now told that they only accepting the visits as of 27 October, if I had known that this was the case I could have easily made up the remaining 6 visits with ease but because I was given incorrect information on the app I am now loosing out. VIRGIN ACTIVE ARE QUICK TO OFFER PROMOTIONS AND TAKE YOUR MONEY TO GET YOU INTO THE GYM BUT AS SOON AS THEY NEED TO HOLD UP THEIR PART OF THE DEAL THEY ALWAYS HAVE AN EXCUSE! THIS IS NOW THE SECOND TIME!!
