False advertising

I’m writing this with huge disappointment, February the 21st I came across a poster at UNISA Parow campus for gym membership offered to students for up to 60%. I contacted the person details on the poster which was Rushin. I enquired with him about the discount and asked how much I’ll be paying .

In our conversation he made it clear that the amount I’ll be paying is plus minus R500 including youth discount aswell. I went as far as going to the Parow branch and again I asked question regarding the amount I’ll be paying and it was still the same answer but it is just the first month that will be slight more which amounted to R1200 if not mistaken.

The second month came and about the same amount was deducted . I sent him a text on WhatsApp on 01 April 2025 and till to date he hasn’t responded.

I’m not willing to pay an amount that I did not agree to .
