Loud Music at Virgin Active Century City

So here's the thing. There are multiple speakers throughout the Gym and the music is deafening. Add this noise to the screeching sounds of the very old treadmills when users are running at speed . . . and you get a very unhealthy environment that's supposed to help you get healthy and fit. I went up to the staff at reception on 3 different visits and asked if they could please turn down the music for the hour that I was going to use the gym. They smiled and said okay. But . . . the music was not turned down! I tested the decibel levels and it shows that the noise of the gym is at very unhealthy levels that can cause hearing loss. Please can something be done about this. I suffer from tinnitus and hearing loss as a result of listening to loud music when I was younger. And now while in the gym I actually feel dizzy and experience pain in my ears from the deafening music. Isn't it common sense that a gym should be a pleasant environment in which one can exercise? I absolutely love Virgin Active and have been a member for over twenty-years. I sincerely wish you guys would do something about the Loud Music.
