Echo Park gross!
<p>I am a member of the Centurion Virgin Active, but because they are closed today, I went for the first time to the branch in Echo Park. </p> <p>It was gross!</p> <p>I dont know where Mpumelelo Mbele is putting the money, but it is DEFINITELY not going into maintenance! The change rooms lockers are old and tatty. Swolen parts and the 'locks' are loose. The steam and sauna rooms are broken. The 'hot water' is luke warm at best. The shower stalls are tatty and mismatched. The towel hooks at the showers are for the most part loose, and some are broken. There is mould on the walls, floors and the ceiling pannels and in the glass of the lights. Some of the lights dont work. There are patches where the plaster has started coming off, and someone did a ****py job of trying to fix holes in the wall/ceiling by putting blobs of pollyfiller on it, with a dash of paint to try and hide it. I could do a better job finishing it off sothat the wall doesent look like its got cellulite!</p> <p>The club is small, I get that, but it is a really ****py second compared to the Centurion branch (behind the Makro). Albert Terblanche (manager) is obviously running his club much better than Echo Park, and should perhaps step in to help this miserable place step up their game. A revamp is sorely needed!</p> <p>The Centurion branch is ALWAYS clean, and well maintained. When a woman is getting naked, that is very important!</p>
